Bringing the Ocean to Life for Young Explorers

This kids’ ocean magazine was one of the most creatively rewarding projects I’ve worked on. I had the opportunity to lead a team of four designers—myself as the creative director and lead designer—through every stage of the process, from brainstorming games and articles to final layout and print.

Together, we brought the ocean to life with interactive activities like word searches, crosswords, and spot-it illustrations that made learning about marine life exciting for kids.

Seeing the magazine printed and in our hands was an incredible moment—it wasn’t just a school assignment, but a project that captured imagination, teamwork, and storytelling in a way that felt both fun and impactful.
